VAMC Library, Medical Media & Clinic Renovation

The Detroit VAMC Library & Medical Media Renovation was a Design-Build project with Silver Star Contracting and involved the renovation of more than 100,000 square feet of existing Library and Medical Media space to accommodate additional clinical space through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  The Library and Medical Media have been condensed and some functions have been reduced in size, combined with other functions or eliminated.  This was necessary to gain the square footage needed to accommodate the Clinic. The work includes architectural, mechanical, and electrical renovations as well as modifications to the existing fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
